Gostanian General Building Corporation was founded in 1978 and has accumulated many years of experience in Commercial and Industrial construction with exceptional customer satisfaction. Our expansion into Government construction activities in the past ten years has continued to sustain excellent performance evaluations.
Our offices are located in Fresno, Sacramento and Monterey California. Our work experience encompasses the following; Custom Design Build Projects, Multi Level Office Complexes, New Home Development, Apartment Complexes, Commercial Tenant Improvements, Renovation and Conversion, and Government Contracts.
Gostanian General has performed tenant improvements for Army Corp of Engineers at Presidio of Monterey for the last four years. Additionally, Gostanian General has completed half a dozen jobs for the Department of the Navy at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Moreover, we have been award several IDIQ contracts for the US Army funded through GovWorks.
Gostanian General is also a Licensed Concrete Contractor who has self performed on all of our Prime contracts as well to multiple General Contractors within the State California. Our experience is vast, from complex concrete tilt up buildings to small concrete site work.

Gostanian General implements and practices a comprehensive safety program. Supervisors and tradesmen are trained extensively within the guidelines of this formal plan. Activity Hazard Analysis, outside safety analysis and independent environmental services are utilized in conjunction with additional available resources to minimize exposure for the entire project work force.
QUALITY CONTROL
Unique to our competition, Gostanian General mandates the successful completion of the “Construction Quality Management for Contractors” certification course by all management and supervisory personnel. By virtue of this training, job site management implements the contractor’s quality report, which emphasizes the three phases of quality management. Our continual success is a result of less call back and re-works; this is directly attributable to our commitment to quality.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Professional project management through scheduling, implementing and partnering is the key to our successful projects. Detailed and interim milestone schedules with owner and subcontractor input ensures timely completion. Implementation through diligent prosecution of the work and management of short interval schedules ensures a quality product. Partnering with the key project players ensures mutual success. Gostanian General strives to complete projects without the motivation for extra work or time delay claims. We have a long history of completing projects within allotted schedule times.
